The Bourbon Crusaders are focused on leveraging our collective passion for bourbon for a range of charitable purposes.
Bourbon Crusaders, Inc. (EIN: 87-1372821) is a public charity under the IRS’ Internal Revenue Code (“IRC”) section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Our 30 members represent a vast array of backgrounds, geographical locations, skills and relationships in the whiskey universe. In addition to over 50 private barrel selections, thanks to the generosity of our industry partners, we are honored to have our name associated with some of the most successful and memorable Kentucky charity events in recent history.

Thanks to our annual distillery partners, the greater bourbon industry, philanthropic individuals, and the amazing attendees of our events, we have donated nearly $7 million since 2016 to support Kentucky-based charities helping people in need across the state. We are eternally grateful.
2023: Kentuckiana American Heart Association (“2023 Charity Crusade”). $720,000 donated.
2022: Louisville American Heart Association (“Straight from the Heart”). $420,000 donated.
2021: Kentucky Bourbon Benefit for Flood Relief in Eastern Kentucky. $1.3 million donated.
2021: Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund (“Kentucky Bourbon Benefit”). $3.4 million donated..
2019: Four Roses + God’s Pantry + Dare to Care (“Barrel Through Hunger”). $370,000 donated.
2018: Willett + American Cancer Society (“Willett to be Cured”). $310,000 donated.
2017: Heaven Hill + ALS Association of Kentucky (“Parker’s Legacy of Hope”). $60,000 donated.
2016: Jim Rutledge + Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. $27,000 donated.
